The 90s have been making a welcome comeback for the last couple of seasons, so naturally we’re delighted that a brand synonymous with our fave recent decade has arrived this week. ellesse have landed with a selection of simple, understated styles for men. This has inspired us to take a look at some of our favourite 90s inspired sneaks that are in at the moment.
Technically, these understated tennis trainers from the Italian sports brand were released in the late 80s, but hopefully you’ll let this slide. Making a comeback in a huge way, the simple clean lines of this classic plimsoll should tempt both sports fans and sneakerheads alike.

Ok so we’ve maybe let this slip – but this other late 80s release really didn’t come into its own until the following decade, when this signature white leather aesthetic became essential casual street wear. A legend in its own right, the revival has seen it bounce back in popularity.
