The latest adidas ZX Flux has given us butterflies. It’s set our hearts a-flutter. It’s got us in a flap. Okay, I’m sure you get the drift. We really like it, and we think you will too.

Its muted black and white colour palette is a welcome sight in a sea of on-trend neons.  Of course, we still love neon, but sometimes you wake up feeling a bit normcore and fancy having a black and white day. These shoes are perfect shoes for days like that.

The ZX Flux is an updated version of the ZX 8000 (originally launched in the 80s), which was one of the first adidas running shoes to use the Torsion system. adidas wanted to create a range of shoes that covered all runners’ needs and the ZX8000s were designed to support the midfoot and allow movement. This was revolutionary stuff and changed the running shoe technology landscape.

So, the Flux is like the sexier younger model, but it still retains all the special features. It’s been streamlined and has an overall sleeker silhouette. The one-piece nylon upper allows feet to breathe, and the super comfy midsole will most definitely put a spring in your step. The welded 3-stripes are a new addition and they give the shoe a more modern feel.

These pretty butterflies are exclusive to schuh so you won’t find them anywhere else.  Whether you’re a gym bunny or not so much, they will be a welcome addition to any wardrobe. The black and white kaleidoscope print goes with almost everything. Here at schuh we like wearing them with pretty dresses for a sporty-girly-tomboy look.
