DO NOT BE ALARMED – that big bright ball in the sky is the sun. Dare we say it? Summer is coming. Coachella always inspires our future wardrobe choices, and the first weekend of the 2016 festival didn’t disappoint. Get inspired for this summer with the help of this gorgeous lot.

We’re not quite into festival season just yet, but let’s be realistic – planning is key. From Lovebox and V Festival to T in the Park, it’s all a style parade anyway. Whether you’re wearing classic ankle boots or braving it in sandals, you’ll probably be living in the pair you choose for the 4 days (since you’re probs lacking the A-lister budget).

Coachella royalty Kendall Jenner goes effortlessly boho with lace-up brown sandals. Dreaming of the Cali heat? Fake it till you make it in the tan leather schuh Atomic sandals.

Reppin’ the Brits abroad, Millie Mackintosh did us proud. Denim cut-offs, adorable braided hair and the summer wardrobe essential – an off-the-shoulder top. Completed nicely with chunky two-part sandals; just like the schuh Ever Changing in black leather.

Supermodel swag has never looked so good – Sara Sampaio gives us serious envy in an ethereal white ensemble. Black ankle boots add just enough grunge to keep things festival.

Bella Hadid and superstar bf The Weeknd were a vision in denim – like Britney and Justin circa 2000. Make like Bella and complete your look with the classic white Nike Air Force 1.

Keeping with kicks, Taylor Swift showcased her platinum locks with a paired down grey and black palette, finished nicely with gold mules. Let your trainers do the talking with a pair of metallics. Reebok are having a moment right now, so the gold leather Classics should do.

Last but most definitely not least, we’re finishing with a triple threat- Natasha Oakley, Nadia Fairfax and Devin Brugman  in camo, khaki and pleats. Classics like the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and the Dr Martens 8 Tie leather boots added enduring festival appeal.

Inspired for festival season? We hope so. Keep your eyes peeled for what the fash pack are wearing at the second weekend too – and get planning that festival wardrobe.
