We were beaten 6 times in the Lace Against Time. The quickest time was an astonishing 13.2 seconds.
If you need us, we’ll be back in our box.
STAY TUNED FOR MORE CHALLENGES.
When you’re surrounded by shoes every day of the week, you quickly learn how to lace a Lacoste like lightening, balance a New Balance on your head and pile shoes up to gravity defying heights. This got us thinking – in a summer of sporting events – how many shoe based records can we set? How quickly can we tie a pair of shoes? How tall a shoe tower can we build? And that is exactly what we did. To find out about all our challenges, subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Hot on the heels of the schuh stack challenge comes Lace Against Time, a high speed shoe lacing challenge. Should you choose to accept it, your challenge is to lace a pair of shoes quicker than we can. All you need to compete are nerves of steel and rapid wrists, and obviously, a shoe.
Representing schuh is a veteran shoe lacer with all the requisite skills to be a champion. Find out how quickly she did it by clicking on the video at the top or directly on YouTube.
Think you can do better?
If you can cross lace 6 eyelets quicker than us, you’ll win a pair of shoes*. To win the prize, you have to be one of the first 50 to beat 15:03 seconds and have video proof of you completing the challenge.
