At schuh HQ, we’ve always thought that all work and no play makes us dull boys and girls. So, in the interest of combining the two (work and play, not girls and boys – we ain’t no crazy Frankensteins), we’ve been out and about checking out the style credentials of our store teams. Definitely not dull. Here we check out Lacey, Trainee Manager at our Liffey Valley store in Dublin…

schuh Blogger: So Lacey, we love your laid back 90s look and the glam touch added by the sparkle in your top. Tell us what inspires you when it comes to style.

Lacey: I like to check out what’s going on around me and draw inspiration from both fashion magazines and from my friends. I’m really excited by the creeper styles we’ve got in just now and the new creepers coming up. For me, they fit nicely into a MOD look which is something I’m really into.

SB: And what shoes are you wearing today?

L: Schuh of course! It’s the Max Chelsea boot. Although I think they may be sold out now…

SB: What’s flying out of the shop in Liffey Valley right now?

L: It’s Vans, Vans, Vans at Liffey! Authentics all the way.

SB: Now confess – what’s your absolute fashion no, no?

L: Without question, anything really tacky. Think Katie Price and, in a nutshell, you have everything I don’t like! Sorry Katie!

SB: And finally – what’s the most embarrassing outfit you’ve ever been caught in?

L: Ooh, definitely a Baby Spice inspired mini skirt and halter top, complete with white platform trainers and pigtails *cringe*!

And that’s the lovely Lacey. Compliments on a postcard to the usual address. Check back next week for our next schuh style spot…
