Let’s talk about the sneakerboot.

You might be thinking, what exactly makes a sneakerboot a sneakerboot? Is it a high top? Or a mid top? Pretty much. Well, as the name suggests, it’s part sneaker, part boot, but there’s a rugged, hiking flavour to most of the season’s styles. We’re really feeling it. Are you with us?

Are you a skinny jean man, a chino fan? Or a straight up straight cut type of guy? As long as you’re not wearing flares (that’s next season guys), there is most definitely a sneakerboot for you.

The selection is vast, we’ve got Nike, New Balance, Onitsuka Tiger, Converse and more getting in on the action. Basically a quick way to make yourself feel like you’re going somewhere off road.  Not just for the Sunday walks either, these are totally acceptable down the pub or in the workplace, well depending where you work that is.

Our favourites are awash with technical details, D rings, strong laces and straps, paired with soft suede and breathable mesh. Pops of colour keep them looking fresh and removed from a typical hiking boot.

Some sneaky sneakerboots we like:

Nike Roshe Run Sneakerboot

The evolution of the Roshe Run into a boot with quilting, ghillie loop lacing and an extended ankle cuff is a wonderful thing. The all black is a slick option if you’re not into burgundy. There’s also a khaki green tall silhouette for girls, it’s a bit longer and has a really cosy duvet style lining, so has more of a snow boot vibe going on.

New Balance 710

The New Balance 710 is a great example of a trail sneakerboot. Its navy suede upper is accented by electric blue and flashes of orange. They’re tough, sturdy and rugged.
