You might think we’re crazy or even having a laugh blogging about strappy sandals as we enter full on winter, but we’re not, honestly. There are loads of ways to wear one of the season’s hottest styles. Just check out Beyonce wearing hers with glittery socks. Uh huh girl!

Strappy and barely there sandals have been on our style radar for a while. We love the minimalist vibe and how they give any outfit an A list feel in a flash. If you’re a fashionista who’s game enough to wear them with baggy jeans and a parka to the shops on a weekend, we salute you. That’s how we roll. Or if you fancy pairing them with thick tights and a tea dress, we say go on girl.

For the glam party girls out there, there’s always a place for the strappy sandal in your wardrobe whatever the time of year. Wear them with sheer dotty tights, glittery opaques or brave the chill with freshly tanned pins. Basically, anything goes with this no fuss style.

The barely there is a celebrity favourite. The Olsen twins love a strappy sandal and are not afraid to pair theirs with socks. Those girls do have a marmite style but we LOVE it. To get you started, here are a couple of our favourites.

Femme Fatale is a feisty little number in liquid gold or silver, the perfect shoe to see you through the festive season and beyond. The multi strap design is not unlike style queen Olivia Palermo’s favourite pair.

schuh Hot Date

Hot Date is an even more minimal, timeless design letting you make a statement with their exquisite simplicity. Southern belle Reese Witherspoon was recently spotted in a very similar pair, and that’s a girl who knows how to dress.

If you really do prefer a closed toe, try Funny Feeling by Red or Dead. This style has a pointed toe (so on trend right now) and strap detail across the mid foot. We’re also loving the black shiny heel with its angular detail.
