We don’t like saying it too often, but y’know? We told you so! Following on from last year’s pastel trend, Spring/Summer 2017 is taking a sugary-sweet turn for yet another year running. The pastel trend continues to dominate the colour chart and yes, although our SS ’17 Campaign promises retro revivals, flourishing florals and the return of the humble pool slide, those powdered hues and sherbet shades are here to stay. Something spooky has gripped our attention lately and for a change we’re not talking about shoes. The hit Netflix series Stranger Things (if you haven’t watched it, you better get on it) left us feeling slightly creeped out but with a sudden sense of nostalgia and a certain regained love for ‘80s sci-fi horror. And it couldn’t have come along at a better time – so, with our obsession for anything retro and with Halloween just around the corner, can you guess what costume we’ve got planned for trick or treating this year. You’re going to love it.
You know what our summer is like – pretty unpredictable. There’s been about one sunny day this year and so guys, you’re probably quite out of practice when it comes to baring those ankles. Here’s hoping the sun might step up and come out for at least one more day. The potential pitfalls of going without socks (sweaty feet, unsuitable footwear) are a worry, so we’re here to ensure that when the time comes for those ankles to get some air, you’re doing it right.
Boats shoes are basically made for the summer. So, unless you live in a permanently tropical climate, us here in the UK have got to savour boat shoes weather when we can. While providing the comfort and ease of that of a sandal; yet the comfort, protection and breath-ability of a leather trainer. Casual or semi smart occasion, the boat shoe is exactly what you’re wanting when the sun comes shining.
With that one week of heat this summer a distant memory, it’s time to get some practical footwear to prevent your toes falling off. We’d never say it’s time to pack away the trainers, but at this time of year it’s time to rethink your staple footwear.
If you don’t want cold feet, or to be slipping on wet leaves in your good trainers – then we’ve got some ideal boots to get you through those grim months.
When we say beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and blueberries, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? A takeaway menu? An odd shopping list for Heston Blumenthal? Probably not necessarily footwear, but we’re here to change your mind about that. The Timberland America food pack brings us mouthwatering new options for autumn/winter with a slick two-tone package of their classic Timberland 6 Inch Premium boots. As we prepare to whet your appetite, please remember these are for your feet, and are not actually food. Read more
