Originally released in 1994, the Puma Disc was a testament to Puma’s technological expertise. The adjustable disc on the top of the Puma Disc eliminated the need for laces and allowed the wearer to fine tune the fit of their shoes, making them supportive and comfortable. A DuPont Hypalon rubber outsole provided cushioning and impact absorption and the mesh and Aeroprene upper gave the wearer flexibility.

Although the shoe looked similar to 1993’s Insta Pump Fury from Reebok, the technology was actually very different and both shoes were considered ground breaking when it came to laceless design.
