So you’ve discovered our blog (you’ve landed on your feet there) but you might be wondering ‘who are schuh?’ Here’s a short history and what you can expect on our blog.
It all started in 1981 when schuh was launched in Edinburgh’s North Bridge Arcade. We began with a simple philosophy – “To provide individual high fashion footwear, sold in a unique and exciting retail environment.” We’re still living by this philosophy over three decades later, only we’ve expanded a bit – we now have over 100 stores.
We’re a British brand, with a German name and some folks struggle with the pronunciation. Do you know how to say it? Some of these guys know…
