Pride 2025: schuh x Converse

At schuh, Pride is a massive highlight of our calendar and the perfect opportunity to celebrate the LGBT+ community – but so is every day, all year-round!

With our continuous mission to foster self expression, style, and inclusivity, we are proud to be committed to LGBTQ+ equality and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Some of our key achievements to date include raising funds for The Proud Trust, publishing educational online resources supporting the LGBT+ community year-round, and hosting and participating in Pride events across the UK.

This summer, we’re celebrating Pride with Converse, our official brand partner for our 2025 Pride Never Stops campaign.

After kicking off our Pride celebrations at Mighty Hoopla festival, our stores in London, Glasgow, and Manchester will be hosting fun events for Pride in July and August featuring local LGBTQ+ creatives, DJ sets, and giveaways!

London: Charm Bar with Kabo Clothing

@KABOCLOTHING are a queer-owned, independent fashion brand with a focus on reworking second-hand garments into playful, one-of-a-kind pieces that champion sustainability, creativity, and mindful fashion.

Saturday 5th July, 1-6pm: Personalised Charm Workshop, London Oxford Circus

Kabo Clothing will be hosting a charm bar in our Oxford Circus store, where you can customise your own one-of-a-kind shoe charm for your Converse from a variety of textures and colours! The 3x3cm charms are constructed from personally sourced scrap and repurposed materials, as well as materials provided by Converse. The whole process is completely circular, aligning with the Kabo ethos. Come along and personalise your charms with bows, safety pins, hoops, piercings, and much more!

Glasgow: Charm Bar with Queefs & Kisses

@Queefs.And.Kisses is a Glasgow-based artist who specialises in beading. She creates bold, handmade jewellery, knitwear, and accessories that celebrate playful, provocative, and feminist self-expression.

Saturday 5th July and Sunday 6th July, 1-6pm: Beading Shoe Charm Bar, Glasgow Buchanan Street

Queefs & Kisses will be at our Glasgow Buchanan Street store to host a beading shoe charm bar. Come along for the chance to create unique 3D beaded embellished keychains featuring playful motifs – perfect for putting a vibrant twist on your Converse!

Please note that only the Saturday event will feature DJs and giveaways.

Manchester: Tufted Patches Workshop with Alena Ruth

@McrTuftingWorkshops (by Alena Ruth) is a queer woman owned Manchester-based studio offering hands-on classes, where people of all skill levels can design and create their own custom rugs using professional tufting equipment.

Saturday 23rd August, 1-6pm: Bespoke Tufting Shoe Patch Bar, Manchester Market Street

Alena will be hosting a shoe accessory station where you can select from a range of super cool pre-made shoe patches to have heat stamped/stuck on to your shoes – the perfect way to add a bold, personal touch to your favourite pair of Converse!

Pride Never Stops
